Performance Tables
The performance tables continue to sit at the heart of the accountability framework. They focus the debate on standards and strengthen the accountability of schools and colleges, providing a reliable and accessible source of comparative information on pupil attainment and progress. The performance tables present this information alongside wider contextual data including Ofsted, absence, workforce and finance data, presenting users with a wider understanding of the setting in which schools are operating.
The Government announced that it will not publish any school or college level educational performance data based on tests, assessments or exams for 2020.
This published update clarifies what this means for the way school and college accountability will operate for 2019/20.
Ofsted
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. Ofsted regulate and inspect schools and colleges to seek improvement in the service. They carry out large number of inspections and regulatory visits in England and publish their finding on their website.
Please feel free to share your views on our school with Ofsted by following the link to the parent view website.
